Marvellous Machines- Rowland Emett

Rowland Emett is an incredible engineer that had created such amazing pieces of art. Break all boundary's of functionality, Laughter and just incredibly funny pieces of work! I really enjoyed visiting this exhibition as it made my rainy day a lot sunnier! I hope you like these images I have taken. Enjoy!

IKON Gallery Birmingham

The IKON Gallery in Birmingham has a wide range of modern art that explores mainly of the 'Fine Art' side of the industry, however I found some of the work incredibly fascinating especially the Candyfloss maker! Check out these photos and the Gallery itself. Enjoy!

Birmingham Gallery

I live not that far from Birmingham so I thought last summer I would go and have a look around. As I was beginning to decide what area of design I wanted to establish myself in I thought I would go around and see the competition. Here are some of the images I have taken, unfortunately I haven't got the names of the artists but I love their work, when I find out their names I will post them up!
                                                                         Enjoy!!

Raphael Hefti

These Next image again were taken at the Contemporary in Nottingham. Raphael Hefti's work "blurs boundaries between natural and industrial, abstract and representational. He frequently collaborates with technicians, scientists, and even dogs, to reveal unexpected beauty in ordinary materials". I hope you like my photo's of his work...

Glenn Ligon Encounters and Collisions

When going round Nottingham taking photo's, I thought why not pop into the Contemporary Gallery.. I saw that the Glenn Ligon Encounters and Collisions exhibition was on and wasn't I surprised! Some of his work is very graphic so I do warn you to have an open mind! The photo's I have posted aren't mine due to the gallery not allowing photography. Unfortunately I am unable to credit the person who's photo's these are, therefore I can only say Unknown. I hope you like these images, and again some of the images do have offensive language in them so please don't judge!
